You want to go swimming where?

Ok so in the little time I have to do want ever it is that I want to do, I like to channel surf. Yes, I am a surfer. Anyway, I came across a show on the History Channel (great channel!!!) that made me pause and reconsider ever getting into another Minnesota or Wisconsin lake. EVER!!
Now I know that there is great fishing to be had in these two states (if you like that type of thing) but what I watched today scared the beegeebees out of me, yet it also urged me to research it as well. The show was about the truth in stories that fishmen tell. Monster Fish they called it. Here is what they talked about: 600lb catfish, 80in pike/musky yikes. Here is what frightened me a lot. A story about a man out swimming in one of MN great lakes, as he got out and was walking in about 2 feet of water, he felt something latch on to the back of his ankle. In all his panic to get out of the water he thought he saw it was a pike fish. He showed the scars he had from the teeth.
I guess pike fish are carnivorous. They also eat their own and pretty much anything that moves, apparently!
