the thing I have read that has stuck with me this semester is not actually school related. It was an article in the paper about banning sugar gliders. A sugar glider is a small mouse looking animal that are difficult to take care of. They require a lot of attention. This article said that they wanted to ban this tiny creature like the want to ban dogs that they consider “dangerous breeds”.I think this is crap!!! Dogs and sugar gliders are not dangerous, only the owners are!!! If the people do not properly care for their pets then yes they can be dangerous. What needs to be monitored are the people purchasing these animals. Something similar to when a pure breed owner sells pups. Most will come and check out the home and do a lengthy interview. This is how we stop accidently biting and crap like that. Don’t punish the many because of the few !I hope this is all I needed to write. It something about “see the other side” but there is nothing on the back of my sheet.
